Synplicity University Program Order Form

Instructions: Please complete this Order Form after reviewing the Synplicity License Agreement with your customer. Please note: Synplicity only accepts Visa and Mastercard for credit card transactions.

Synplicity Security Policy: Members of Synplicity's University Program agree to take reasonable precautions to prevent public use of Synplicity licenses. Techniques include:

• Put license servers behind a firewall that is only accessible by authorized users.
• Use a FLEXlm options file that authorizes only a specific list of legitimate users. See the Options File chapter in http://www.globetrotter.com/TOC.htm for information.
• Change the TCP port numbers every semester, and make it clear to users that sharing any license access information outside of their class violates the legal agreement between the university and Synplicity.

If license servers are not protected by a firewall and/or options file, posting license access information on a publicly-available internet location is not acceptable and may result in termination of University Program status.

License Term: Synplicity, Inc. ("Synplicity") hereby grants and you accept, subject to this Agreement, a non-transferable, non-exclusive, fully paid, personal, limited license to internally use a copy of a Synplicity software program (the "SOFTWARE") on a non-commercial and not-for-profit basis, solely for educational instruction and academic research.
