PCIE1 KIT

 

The PCIE-1-KIT includes:

PCIE1 KIT
PCIE-1_1x1   1-lane HAPS daughter board
PCIE-4_CABLE 4-lane cable, 1 m. in length
PCIE-4_PC 4-lane host interface board

PCIE-1-KIT is a one-lane PCI Express solution for HAPS, including a HAPS daughter board, a host interface board for the PC, and a cable to connect the two boards together.

The use of a standard PCI Express cable to connect a computer with a HAPS system gives a mechanically stable system interfacing to PCI Express at full speed.

* The PCI Express interface is proven to work smoothly with an IP Core from PLDA.

 

PCIE1 KIT

 

 Features:
  • PCI Express x1, v1.0a and v1.1 compliant
  • Data transfer rate up to 1.6 Gbit/s
  • Front panel switch to easy disconnect the system from the PCI Express bus
  • Clock jitter attenuator with selectable bandwidth
  • PXPIPE interface to HAPS
  • Uses Philips PCI Express PHY (PX1011A-EL1/G)
  • Onboard voltage generation from a single 2.5V source supplied from the HAPS connector
  • HAPS connector conforms to the HapsTrak standard
  • Cable compliant with PCI Express External Cabling Specification Rev. 0.5
  • Host interface and cable are both 4-lane capable

 

NOTE 1:
By replacing PCIE-4_PC, with an Express Card PCIe host interface board, HAPS can be connected to laptops with Express Card Slots.
