|
HAPS_CMI, Synplicity's High-performance ASIC Prototyping System has a single HAPS connector, and acts as a "motherboard" for attaching one (or two stacked) ARM® core modules. Selected signals from the HDRA and HDRB connectors on the ARM core module are connected to HAPS. 21 GPIO signals in the HAPS connector are available on standard 0.1" pitch headers.

|
| Features: |
- Board form factor is larger than a "short" 3x2 board, to allow the europa sized ARM-CM to fit as a daughter board. The board is allowed to extend into the neighboring module space to the right of the HAPS connector.
- Designed to mate with the two extension connectors HDRA and HDRB on the ARM core module.
- The clocks of both ARM core modules are connected to an 50-ohm SMB coax, intended to be fed from a HAPS global clock output.
- Additional selected signals from HDRA and HDRB are connected to the HAPS connector.
- 21 signals are made available in a standard 0.1" pitch header.
- Signals on the ARM board can be probed with existing Mictor connectors on the ARM board. The board with a single mounted ARM-CM should allow easy physical access to the Mictor connectors.
- All signal levels are 3.3 V.
- Cores supported:
- ARM720T
- ARM7TDMI
- ARM920T
- ARM922T
- ARM926EJ-S
- ARM940T
- ARM946E-S
- ARM966E-S
- ARM1020E
- ARM1026EJ-S
- ARM1136JF-S

"We have 3000 signals between two FPGAs, and it runs smoothly! This was achieved by HAPS great I/O flexibility and Certify's pin multiplexing feature."
