Synplicity FPGA Vendor Partnerships

Synplicity works in close cooperation with major FPGA vendors as an active member of their EDA partnership programs. These vendors are officially enlisted in our Strategic Access Partner Program. Synplicity provides these vendors with access to our software and system solutions to insure interoperability between our respective products.

Close partnerships allows our development teams early access to new device architectures, before they are released, ensuring that our products can take full advantage of new programmable devices as they become available.

Actel Corporation (NASDAQ: ACTL) is attacking power consumption issues from both the chip and system levels. Actel's innovative FPGAs and programmable system chip solutions enable power efficient design. In addition, Actel offers a wide spectrum of programmable solutions that highlight analog functions, flash memory, and radiation hardened features to address system management, high volume, and high altitude applications.

Achronix Semiconductor is a privately held fabless corporation based in San Jose, California. Achronix builds the world's fastest field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) which use a unique, patented circuit technology, providing 2GHz throughput; a significant performance advantage over existing FPGA technology. Target markets for Achronix FPGAs include communications, networking, high performance computing, digital signal processing, aerospace and defense systems, medical imaging, and a growing range of other areas.

Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) is the pioneer of programmable logic solutions, enabling system and semiconductor companies to rapidly and cost effectively innovate, differentiate, and win in their markets. Today, Altera offers FPGAs, CPLDs, and structured ASICs in combination with software tools, intellectual property, and customer support to provide high-value programmable solutions to approximately 14,000 customers worldwide.

Lattice Semiconductor (NASDAQ: LSCC) holds a growing share of the programmable logic market, and we led our competitors in revenue growth in the FPGA market segments between 2006 and 2007. Our newest products include the low-cost, non-volatile, and system-level FPGAs required for the latest applications of this popular technology. We are focused on increasing market share by rapidly introducing differentiated new product families that target high-growth market segments. Our end customers are primarily original equipment manufacturers in the communications, computing, consumer, industrial, automotive, medical and military end markets.

Xilinx Corporation
(NASDAQ: XLNX) is the world's leading supplier of programmable logic solutions. We supply customers with "off-the-shelf" logic devices that customers can program to perform specific functions using the development tools we provide. Our company's business is drawn from a variety of industry segments. In recent years, a large portion of our revenues came from the communications marketplace. However, we have become increasingly more diversified to include the consumer, industrial, and automotive sectors. You can find Xilinx chips in a wide variety of digital electronic applications ranging from wireless base stations to HDTV to portable handsets.
