HAPS is a modular system with multi-FPGA motherboards and standard or custom-made daughter boards, which can be stacked together in a variety of ways.
Among the functions available on standard daughter boards are video processing, various memory types, and interfaces to Ethernet, USB, PCI-X and ARM®.
Over 20 daughter boards are available today, but you can build your own daughter boards in very short order.
The robust and reliable hardware, together with the modular approach (LEGO®-like daughter boards), allows the designer to concentrate on the actual ASIC design, which will shorten the verification time by months.
