Synplicity Announces Fourth Quarter 2005 Earnings Webcast 

SUNNYVALE, Calif., January 23, 2006 — Synplicity, Inc. (Nasdaq:  SYNP), a leading supplier of software for the design and verification of semiconductors, today announced it will hold a webcast for interested members of the investment community at 1:30 p.m. Pacific on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 to discuss the company’s fourth quarter 2005 results.  The company will release earnings after the market close on February 1, 2006.
