Synplicity Announces Second Quarter 2006 Earnings Webcast

SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 6, 2006 — Synplicity, Inc. (Nasdaq: SYNP), a leading supplier of software for the design and verification of semiconductors, today announced it will hold a webcast for interested members of the investment community at 2:00 p.m. Pacific on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 to discuss the company’s second quarter 2006 results. The company will release earnings after the market close on July 25, 2006.

A live webcast of the call will be available on Synplicity’s Web site at http://investor.synplicity.com. Following completion of the call, a rebroadcast of the webcast will be available at http://investor.synplicity.com through September 30, 2006.
