Synplicity, Inc. Announces Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2002 Earnings Webcast

SUNNYVALE, Calif., January 6, 2003 — Synplicity, Inc., (Nasdaq: SYNP) a leading supplier of software for the design and verification of semiconductors, today announced it will hold a webcast for interested members of the investment community at 2:00 p.m. Pacific on Tuesday, January 28, 2003 to discuss the company’s fourth quarter and fiscal year 2002 results and business outlook. The company will release earnings after the market close on January 28, 2003.
