Sheila Cheung
Vice President, Controller

Ms. Cheung joined Synplicity in October 2007 as VP Controller. In her role, she oversees the worldwide accounting and finance functions including revenue recognition, SEC external reporting, and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Ms. Cheung has 18 years of both large and small public software/internet companies and public accounting experience.

Prior to Synplicity, from 2005 to 2007, Ms. Cheung served as Corporate Controller at SupportSoft, Inc., a publicly traded software company in IT service automation, consulting and consumer businesses. From 1997 to 2005, Ms. Cheung held various senior finance management positions at Nielsen NetRatings, Inc., Siebel Systems Inc. and Symantec Corporation respectively. Ms. Cheung spent 5 years in public accounting at KPMG and PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Los Angeles from 1991 to 1995 and spent 2 years working abroad in Hong Kong and Beijing, China.

Ms. Cheung is a California certified public accountant, and a member of AICPA, California Society of CPAs and Financial Executives International. Ms. Cheung holds a B.A. in Economics from University of California, Los Angeles.
